Special Department 

​

In the Special Department we focus on developing the strengths and abilities of our learners.  Emotional intelligence is also practiced to enable learners to work effectively in a group or team.

We emphasise on remedial activities, practical skill development and work preparation. 

 

Because of the composition and circumstances of the school, the Special Department is flexible to adapt the curriculum and assessment techniques.

  1. Language 

  2. Mathematics 

  3. Life Skills

  4. Practical Skills (Vocational Skills).

    • Arts and Crafts

    • Needlework

    • Gardening

    • Housekeeping

    • Computer

Junior Special 

​

Consists of 5 classes of maximum 12 learners between the ages of 7 to 10. 

Inter Special 

​

Consists of 6 classes of maximum 12 learners between the ages of 10 to 13.  

Senior Special 

​

Consists of 5 classes that can accommodate a maximum of 12 learners from the age of 14, depending on the disability.
